Now (terrifyingly) the most senior member of the committee, Jimi has taken up the President's mantle. He is thrilled to be working with such a talented and enthusiastic group of people and knows that this year will be one of Footlights' most challenging - yet most rewarding. Musical theatre has always been a big part of Jimi's life and being able to help Footlights carve its name into that world has been a pleasure.

Camilla made her debut with Footlights in last year's production of 'Fame - the Musical', playing the feisty Carmen Diaz who longed to 'live forever.' She was also Ordinary Member to the society, and after the show's great success, Camilla was once more determined to get as involved as possible with Footlights. As Secretary, she is responsible for the administrative running of the society, and works closely with all members of the committee. Camilla is British-Uruguayan, and is a second year Biological Sciences student at the University of Edinburgh.

Harriet was thrilled to take part in 'Fame', her first Footlights production, and even more excited to be appointed Events Manager for the coming year. She will be working hard to raise funds for the 2012 production through a variety of means, and although she may not be the most experienced, she will definitely rise to the challenge. Harriet is greatly anticipating a busy year filled with fun, and is really enjoying working with the committee!
As a music student at the university, theatre has always been an integral part of Claire's life and she is very passionate about getting involved in every way possible. With Footlights being a rock in her first year, she is more than keen to promote and support the society and as Sponsorship Coordinator ensuring that businesses and local communities are aware of everything the society has to offer.

Having held the position of Publicity Manager on the Footlights committee last year, Finlay couldn't resist giving it another go! This role involves working closely with the show's Producer to advertise both the show and Footlights as a society. Having performed in the past two Footlights shows, Finlay is thrilled to be involved with the society which has been so welcoming and exciting to be a part of for a third year. Working with the other members of this year's committee has been an absolute pleasure.
After performing in the Footlights production of "Fame - the Musical" in his first year, Frank was keen to take a role in this year's committee and found his place as Social Secretary. His responsibilities include organizing events to give the cast a chance to relax, unwind and have fun together outside of rehearsals. For the show to be a real success, it is vital that the cast bond as a group and an inclusive, professional and enjoyable working ethos is created by the company. Frank hopes to help achieve this through regular social events ranging from flat parties and movie nights to day trips and a post show weekend away. Let the Footlights fun times begin!

Jessica has now been involved in two Footlights productions, and absolutely loved the experience of being in the committee last year as Social Secretary. Having such high involvement with the show and seeing it progress from the initial idea to the very end was so rewarding and enjoyable that Jessica couldn't wait to get involved in the committee again. This year, she is undertaking the role of Patronage Coordinator. This helps raise funds for the society which allow the show to go ahead and be as spectacular as possible. It is also her job to create a database of Footlights alumni, so all previous members can keep in touch and up-to-date with the latest Footlights offerings! This fantastic society has already become a huge part of her University career, and she hopes everyone else will enjoy being involved as much as she has.
Having played the role of Serena in the Footlights' production of 'Fame', Keara was keen to continue her connections with the Footlights gang; she applied for the role of Ordinary Member in this year's committee and (miraculously) got it. Currently studying History of Art and Music, Keara has been involved in theatre throughout her time at school, performing in shows such as 'My Fair Lady', 'Kiss me Kate', Gilbert and Sullivan's 'The Gondoliers' and 'Oliver'. When not in rehearsals, Keara really doesn't quite know what to do with herself. She is thrilled to be working alongside such a talented and dedicated committee. the various new faces to the society this year.!
